Is it weird that...

I find this song funny, sad and sweet. ... I am in an odd space right now. Not bad. Just...uneven ground. Perhaps that's why that song appeals to me right now. Because it is a bit uneven. I haven't been on the bike for a few days....but I've been running. It feels weird to run again after having been on the bike for so long, but, mentally and a bit physically I need it. Anyway, I have no more words right now. The words have been coming out of me pretty fast and furious and I think at some point I'll need to recharge...maybe starting tonight. Good night. Xs n Os

Nights

It is 1:35 a.m. and I am still up. I am finally finding myself edging toward sleep. Impressive since I've been up since 5:50 a.m Not in a bad space. Actually, I'm in a rather good space. Just the same, my mind is whirling. The nights alone are not easy sometimes. I did however have this go through my mind: Bad times come and go. As do the good. Embrace and enjoy the good while it is lasts. Be patient and remember bad times don't last for eternity. I am guilty of many things, including thinking that bad times will always be bad. I'm equally guilty of thinking the good times should last forever. Neither is true. ... The neighbor girl was crying again earlier today. She woke me up the other night crying. I had the windows open and heard the noise. I wanted to make sure she was ok, make sure she wasn't being harmed in some way. Shortly after the wailing, it ceased, or at least became much harder to hear. The light in the yard also came on. That was two night ...

Roach wings

"Roach wings won't get you far. But they'll get you here." I have felt heavy this last week. A lot of things on my mind and most of them aren't light. I've tried to separate the wheat from the chaff with my thoughts. To figure out what is weighing me down. But even the little things, like having two rides this week where I had to stop twice due to either a flat or a slow leak, have gotten me down. But the big things, are what is really weighing me down. TPG, I'm sending you my good vibes, my prayers and anything else, including the kitchen sink. "Perhaps its just that I'm lonely at this point in the year...It's a false loneliness, because for the life of me I can't think of me, I can't think of a single woman I'd want to be with. I like the ones in my imagination best." That's been weighing on my mind also. I've been feeling lonely. It seems to be a false sense of loneliness because I can't think of any...

A man ain't nothin but a man . Its true. Lots and nothing going on round here lately. Got a good 62-mile ride in on Sunday. Was good. I was surprised at how good I felt during and after the ride. Covered the ground in four hours. I suspect I could cut some time out. Not more else to share right now. Weather is decent. Windy though. Maybe more later, but fer now, that's whatca get. Xs n os
